MAS CLEAN / PLANNING GUIDE

A move-out cleaning checklist for your next chapter

A move-out clean works best when the home is empty, access is arranged and the tasks are agreed in advance. Use this checklist to describe the work and discuss your cleaning needs. Cleaning cannot guarantee the return of a security deposit.

Before the clean

Remove belongings and arrange any hauling separately. Confirm the move-out date, safe access, running water and power. Share property-manager requirements with the team before a quote is accepted. Do not put entry codes or sensitive documents in public notes or photos.

Kitchen

Ask for accessible counters, sink, exterior appliance surfaces and floors. Specify whether empty cabinet interiors, oven interiors or refrigerator interiors should be included. These tasks need agreement; a move-out label alone does not include every appliance.

Bathrooms and other rooms

Identify accessible fixtures, shower surfaces, mirrors and floors. Point out trim, baseboards and visible buildup that need attention. Explain any delicate materials or access restrictions so the team can review methods and equipment.

Before accepting the quote

Room photos lead to an list of cleaning tasks and prices, then a preferred cleaning time
Photos → agreed cleaning tasks and price → preferred time. A quote alone does not confirm a booking.

Check the included tasks, exclusions, agreed extras, property condition and proposed total. Repairs, hauling, hazardous waste and undisclosed construction debris require separate arrangements. Deposit decisions remain with the property owner or manager.
